Cane Syrup Demonstration

Dauset Trails will hold its annual Cane Syrup Day Saturday, November 19, 2011. The cane grinding will start at 9:00 am. This event is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Watch freshly squeezed cane juice cook by fire in a an 80 gallon cast iron kettle and transform into the tastiest cane syrup you ever poured on a biscuit.

New River Otters at Dauset Trails

Dauset Trails acquired two female River Otters from a rehabilitation center in Florida. They are about 10 months old and have quickly made themselves at home on the Animal Trail.




Trail of Terror

Dauset Trails showcased its "Trail of Terror" October 27 and 28, 2011. We had a great turnout of guests who filled the night air with plenty of screams. Thank you to the 30 plus volunteers who helped out with our first time scare event. We had a lot of fun and look forward to next year's scary experience.



Pumpkin Party 2011

Dauset Trails hosted its annual Pumpkin carving party October 21. 40 people enjoyed a great program, refreshments, and warm fellowship as we turned unsuspecting pumpkins into glowing artistic masterpieces in the cool October night. Some of the creations are shown above.




Holiday Closing Schedule

Dauset Trails will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Normal business hours are now Monday - Saturday from 9 - 5 and Sunday from 12 - 5.
