The Nature Center (animal exhibits etc.) closes on Monday.  However, our trail system remains open.


November 19- Syrup Festival and Ocmulgee Blacksmith Guild Auction at Barnyard. Starting at 9:00 am. Free event. Watch the old fashioned process of cane syrup production. See blacksmith demonstrations and bid on hand-forged items. Soap making. Syrup for sale while supplies last. Food and drink will be sold. See you at the Trails.

School Field Trip: Call our office (770) 775-6798 to make a reservation for a guided tour/program.  There is no fee for programs.

Schools are welcome to visit on their own. Please park school buses in the Overflow Parking field to the left after entering the main gate. There are picnic tables along the fence located at the edge of the woods as well as a picnic area and playground adjacent to the main parking. Restrooms are there as well.
